The research question focuses on reducing latency in robotic manipulation systems using World Action Models (WAMs), where the joint process of action generation and future visual prediction introduces significant delays.

The proposed approach, Rolling-WAM, distributes the denoising process across multiple planning cycles. It uses a sliding window of video-action segments at varying noise levels, progressively refining these segments as new data comes in.

Evaluations on LIBERO, RoboTwin, and a real-world Unitree G1 humanoid demonstrate that Rolling-WAM achieves competitive performance and a 4.5x increase in steady-state replanning speed compared to traditional WAMs.
